Topher Paolucci is a Brooklyn based composer and music director from Long Island, NY. He has eight years of music directing experience, working on shows like Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play (iNtuitons Experimental Theatre Co.), Hedwig and the Angry Inch (iNtuitons Experimental Theatre Co.) High School Musical (Stimulus Children’s Theatre Co.), and Little Shop of Horrors (Quadramics Theatre Co.).
In 2018, Topher composed, orchestrated, and music directed the original musical Start from Hello with book and lyrics by Michaela Vivona which was workshopped both at Syracuse University and the Musical Theatre Festival in NYC. Other select works include music for American Valentine (2021) with book and lyrics by Peyton Marion and music and lyrics for Carmilla: A New Rock Musical (2022) with book and lyrics by Alex Kaouris.

He has an MFA from NYU Tisch in Musical Theatre Writing and BA in Global Communications from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he has done composition workshops at the Curtis Institute of Music and Film Scoring Academy of Europe, and a conducting masterclass under Ted Sperling at NYU. He has recently worked as a Music Director for Broadway Workshop, Professional Performing Arts High School, Triple Promise Academy, and currently works as a substitute music director for The First Presbyterian Church of Oyster Bay. In his spare time, Topher enjoys watching analysis videos of films that he hasn't seen and watching Drag Race with friends.
